Satisfaction Through Disqualification

So, I found out today that I was disqualified from my Paula Deen Casting Competition. I was a little down, but then I realized that I had many more weeks of lovely competition to act upon.

Then i found a message in my email inbox. Someone saw my video and sent an amazing email thanking me for being an inspiration! That nearly brought tears to my eyes. I love the fact that God has blessed me with the opportunity to bless others through simply doing the things I love.

At the end of the email, she congratulated me for being featured on Paula's website. I was like, WHAT!!!! Then I searched on the website thinking that this woman was misunderstood. No SHE WASNT! my video was right there, right on her website! PAULA DEEN SAW MY VIDEO AND NOTICED ME! SHE KNOWS MY NAME!

Now, you, go and check it out! This is oober exciting. When I say oober, I mean SUPER OOBER!

You probably don't know this, but I am a friend of Kim Boyles. I love your blog and all your creations! At the moment I am on a baking ban, per request of my husband, who is trying to lose weight, so I haven't been able to try any of your recipes, but I can't wait to try the Cranberry Sauce. It looks yummy!!

Your video was also cute :D I enjoyed watching it! Thanks for the inspiration!

Yay! I'm so proud of your commitment to no baking! But, I'm gonna do something special for you. I actually have lost a LOT of weight about 2 years ago from eating very healthy and learning how to bake healthy. (I know, I make a lot of unhealthy stuff..but I usually don't eat much of it!)
Keep on the watch for your healthy Miss Cupcake Treat! I'll get you back in the kitchen, and your husband will still be able to eat it and loose weight!
