Warm Raspberry Cake-in-a-Cup

Do you see that up there? That's the beginning of the most wonderful warmed dessert in the making.

Behold....the cake-in-a-cup. It's probably most genius invention known the the individual treat world. It just came to me one afternon. They are also oober versatile. You can use whatever the heck you want. So I'm pretty sure that I'm in love with these guys. Warm.....like a molten yellow raspberry cake. The best part about these little cake-in-a-cups is that they are as easy as 1-2-3.

And look...all that you have to do is put some ice cream on top...and it's instant heaven. BTS is what my mom calls it (but I'm not going to share what that means ;) And I guess I should tell you that I use frozen yogurt..not ice cream. Here's the deal....if you use frozen yogurt...you can keep scooping it ontop when you run out...so you eat twice as much and suffer 1/2 of the consequences. I like this. I like this alot.

So I'll tell you how to make them now. I would probaby get a gatorade because you are going to need something to get you through this ridiculously long recipe...so brace yourself.
Warm Raspberry Cake-in-a-Cup
Items Needed:
  • One yellow cake mix (prepared as box shows) (you can actually use any cake mix..I'm going to try chocolate sometime soooooooon!)
  • Frozen raspberries tossed in some sugar
  • Frozen Yogurt or ice cream
  1. Prepare cake mix.
  2. Take sugared frozen raspberries and put them in the bottom of coffee mugs.
  3. Pour the cake mix about 2/3 of the way up of the coffee mug.
  4. Bake for about 20-25 minutes. Top with ice cream while warm.
  5. Ohhh-la-la-la-la (phhhhewww that was a crazy recipe)

If you are up to the challenge....then do it. (But, only if you dare)
